When I bought this set I loved the way it looked and was excited that it could sit on the counter formy convenience. Within 2 weeks, the can opener broke. In addition, the holes on the garlic press don't line up so it'svery difficult to clean out, and by the third time we used the corkscrew, it broke too. I can't really complainabout the peeler and I've never used the nut-cracker. This was a big waste of money and space in my kitchen.I threw away the carousel because I only have 2 of the original 5 pieces left. Save your money-- get something that works.
These spoons are adorable but I would hardly call a cardboard box with a clear lid a gift box!
The fake velvet touch only enhances how cheap this toolkit is. The pieces are flimsy and light, which makes them feel like they can break at any time. The box they came in is ugly and looks like something you'd buy at a K-mart. The ten dollar metal corkscrews you can buy at the supermarket are better designed than the one you'll find here.
The cork screw is beautiful in appearence. It works well at removing a cork from a bottle. Your screw it in. A ratcheting mechanism allows you to move the handle back without removing your hand form the corksrew, and then you pull out the cork using your own muscle power. However the stopping lever, supposed to hold the ratcheting worm in place, to allow you unscrew the cork off of the worm, does not hold the worm in place. It slips, making removal of the cork from the cork screw extremely difficult. I've had to remove the worm (it pops out easily with a push button) and hold the end with a wrench in order to remove the cork from the worm.
Nice looking, keeps bottles from clinking together, not too bulky, easy to store.Not much more to say.

Every professional beer tender should have one, especially for Corona. Also saves your hands from those blistering twist-off tops.
I experienced the same problem as reviewer number 2.Rather than pulling the cork, it pushes the cork into the (expensive) wine, splashing the wine on table, chairs, and clothing.I am not happy.Tried to return item, no record!
When this thing works, it can open a bottle in a flash - under three seconds easily.The foil cutters are a real boon too, giving a tidy finish.Unfortunately it will not always work.Very tight-fitting corks, especially synthetics, will sometimes fail to be shifted by the pressure, and a regular corkscrew is needed.More irritating is a problem with long corks, where it is hard to get the nozzle right through the cork.If they had added 2-3mm length to the needle, this problem would not exist, which is very frustrating.
In summary, worth the money, but make sure you have a backup just in case.

This beautiful piece is in the center of my island in my kitchen.It catches the eye of my guests and is a fun conversation piece.It uncorks and recorks wine by simply raising and lowering the lever in a smooth deft motion.....Also note the color/metal plating finish of the actual piece-- antique bronze is another option to consider.The shiny nickel ... really contrasts to the intended antiquity of the tool.Last, the mounted corkmaster stands about 25 inches high-- quite a few inches taller than the average wine bottle.Obviously this is to accomodate all bottle sizes but if you are uncorking the usual 750 ml, you will use the clamp ... to hold the bottle.It made me nervous at first but works really well!I do recommend this item.
I'm SUCH a sucker for April Cornell linen items.Simply put, I like the colorways and prints incorporated into her goods.I have linen closets full of duvet covers, pillow covers, and of course tablecloths and placemats.This table runner is printed on a nice medium weight canvas/twill material, perfect for the likes of my oversized family room coffee table.
This product works great when new.I bought one at a local store and it worked great for a month or two.Then a small piece broke off, so I returned it to the store.The replacement worked great for a month or so as well, then the same piece broke.Also, the foil cutter breaks easily as well.I am giving up and getting a Rabbit corkscrew.The Rabbit lasted for two years before finally giving up.
I bought this item because I hated the struggle in trying to get the cork out of a champagne bottle.It works great.I came back and bought a couple more for gifts.The packaging is also very nice.
This bottle stopper looks great. It slides into a bottle then you turn the top to seal the bottle. Unscrew the top to loosen the seal and then remove. 
I received this set as a gift years ago, when I first moved to California, but have only recently begun to appreciate it fully.While I have little use for a drip collar, the remaining items are -- though quite simple -- extremely serviceable and handy.I prefer the using the blade on the corkscrew to cut capsules vs. the actual foil cutter, but the latter works quite flawlessly if you prefer a "safer" method.The stopper is perfect for use with an inert gas for preservation, and the waiter's corkscrew (with its aforementioned blade for cutting foil) is simple perfection for pulling corks -- way better than the very common wing-type corkscrew (which tends to mangle corks, in my experience).

It works great getting most corks out without a struggle. It can't grab some of the newer synthetic corks that are set deeper into the bottle neck. Sometimes the cork gets stuck too far up in the device after it has been removed from the bottle and the plastic shield is too narrow to be able to grab the cork with my fingers (and my hands are tiny). I have to use pliers to grab the cork and get it out.
This item was initially sold under the Sonoma Reserve label.I wonder if it ran into a copyright violation.It has nothing to do with Williams Sonoma, and now carries a Napa label.In any event, the concept for this cork pump apparently went straight to market without any testing.The needle is hard to push through the cork and the little pump is unable to overcome the friction that holds a cork in the bottle.Don't even bother trying it on a plastic cork.When I tried to pull the needle from the cork that was still lodged in the bottle, the needle pulled loose from the pump.The instructions say that, if the cork does not come out after ten pumps, then use a cork screw.Save your money and get a Swiss Army knife.
I have a metrokane rabbit.Pretty - Yes, worked well - Yes for about a year.Then the mechanism came apart.Metrokane WILL NOT stand behind their product for more than 12 months.Which I find amazing considering that a knock-off of the rabbit can be purchased for about $30. Buy a knock-off they work as just as well. Don't believe that the additional cost of the rabbit gives you a superior product.
This stopper is exactly what is needed to seal opened champagne bottles.This product is more sturdy than other similiar products I've seen and makes for a nice "quality" gift for your favorite champagne-drinker.The fit is tight and it kept the bubbly bubbly until the last drop was poured.
Never mind the previous review, they couldn't put a round peg in a round hole if they had to and must not have read the instructions. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations. This is the real deal. More $ but worth it. We have had this style for over 3 years and it has worked flawlessly. Over the years we have purchased cheaper versions to give as gifts and been over to friends homes that have the cheezy ones and none of them work as good as this one. Our reason for buying this one is for a gift and a gift that will keep giving for years to come.

I've never written a review on a product before.BUT, I just had to comment on this wine opener.I just tried it for the first time this evening...IT WORKS SOOOO EASY!!IT IS UNBELIEVEABLE!! Just put it over your bottle, press the down arrow and hold it there...it lowers the screw into the cork and retracts the cork out in one easy motion.Then press the up arrow and the screw automatically unwinds throw the cork and the cork just pops into your hand.Magnificent piece work.Every wine lover should own one.I just ordered another one for my brother-in-law
This is the best wine opener we have ever used.It is takes very little effort and does a great job.One charge last for weeks - unless you are having a very large party.
We received this as a gift a year ago and it is the best thing!Makes opening wine bottles so easy!Cork stays intact so its easy to put back into the bottle.This makes a great gift for wine lovers.I will never use a regular old corkscrew again.
This juicer works well enough, but I started noticing metal shavings in the juice and under the juicer.I'm not fond of ingesting metal shavings so I plan to contact the company and demand an explanation and a refund.I do NOT recommend buying this item until this problem is resolved.
This was purchased as a gift.I have not personally seen it.But, the recipient seemed extremely pleased with it and they use it outdoors as well as indoors.They indicated it was beautifully made.

This is a beautiful bottle stopper but it's a little small and doesn't fit tightly in the bottle.
This product was designed to fit a specific need--providing a vacuum seal for a screw top bottle of wine.This is important because most normal wine stoppers are slightly too small for screw top bottles.The quality of the item was so poor it fell apart in our hands.Cheap construction is never valued.
