I'm a fan of this type corkscrew. However, don't fall for the hype around a "well known" name or the advertised "German construction."My reaction when I unpacked this corkscrew was "what a cheap rip-off".I was replacing a wing type corkscrew that had lasted over ten years, cost ten bucks, and felt substantial when used. This corkscrew meets the cost criteria, but has a cheap, tinny feel.I wondered if it would break before I got the cork off (it didn't).Still, I'm using the standard bartender corkscrew and will be buying a wing type from a store where I can see the quaility before I buy.For the workmanship and quality, this corkscrew is overpriced at seven bucks.
